Before you use RedotPay GrabPay

GrabPay checks are about rides, food, wallet balance and card acceptance, not about RedotPay being a Grab product.

Keep RedotPay card use separate from DuitNow, local bank apps and Malaysian e-wallets; choose the method the merchant or app actually shows.

Check whether Grab is charging a card directly or asking for wallet balance first.

• Identify whether the merchant wants card, QR, bank transfer or wallet balance.
• Keep RedotPay card status separate from local wallet records.
• Use bank app or e-wallet when the route is Malaysia-only.

Match the merchant payment method first: RedotPay GrabPay

Check whether the Grab screen is charging a card directly or asking for wallet balance.

Do not share OTP, buy verified accounts, use APK mirrors, or send crypto to an address from a private chat.

If the official screen does not match the merchant payment screen, stop before adding more balance or retrying the same payment.

• Confirm KYC and fee screen.
• Use a small test first.
• Use the current app screen as the final check before confirming.
• Keep the first transaction small enough that a delay will not hurt cash flow.

A card can work for one merchant category and fail for another.

Save the Grab error or receipt, RedotPay card status and any OTP/3DS result.

• Keep a local Malaysian card or wallet balance ready when traveling or ordering food.
• Check if the merchant accepts card.
• Do not assume wallet top-up works.
• Keep backup MYR wallet balance.
